Gas supply from LNG to the national grid has crossed 1 billion cubic feet, overcoming the shortage caused by the fire at the floating terminal in Maheshkhali. The total supply, including domestic gas, stands at 2.624 billion cubic feet. While the increase in supply has brought some relief to households and industries, the shortage has not been completely eliminated.
