Traffic disruption, then normal
Following the accident, there was a severe traffic jam on the Chittagong-bound lane of the highway, but traffic flow was normal on the Dhaka-bound lane. Mahipal Highway Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Kabir Hossain said that traffic flow on the highway returned to normal after two and a half hours of efforts using two wreckers to remove the accident-hit bus from the road. The accident-hit bus has been taken into police custody.
